EMN and its Spanish member Fundación Nantik Lum are launching the European Microcredit Research Award 2008! Hand in your research paper and receive the first European Microcredit Research Award ever at EMN’s 5th Annual Conference to take place from 8-10 September 2008 at Nice in France. The award is endowed with €1000!
Yourresearch paper should deal with one of the various issues related to microfinance in Europe such as social exclusion, specific target groups, financial literacy, social performance, benchmarking etc. We are going to select best papers, hand them out at the Conference and publish them on the Nice Conference CD-ROM. Several best papers are going to be presented at the Conference research strand workshop moderated by Fundación Nantik Lum. One outstanding paper is going to receive the European Microcredit Research Award 2008!
Please send an abstract of your research paper to Bárbara Jayo, research manager at Fundación Nantik Lum (Foro Nantik Lum de Microfinanzas): foro@nantiklum.org and strictly follow the abstract template attached to this email. Please note that papers that are not in line with the required format are going to be sent back to you resulting in delays for you! The deadline for handing in the abstracts is Friday, 6th of June 2008.
Fundación Nantik Lum will send you an acceptance notification regarding your paper until 20h of June. Full papers (see template attached) should then be handed in until 31st of July in order to be distributed and/or presented at the Conference research strand workshop.
