Partilho com os seguidores deste blog o comunicado de imprensa da EBAN- European Business Angels Network, sobre a última Winter University, realizada em Sophia Antipolis. Recordo que a empresa portuguesa WayMedia, assessorada pela Gesventure, foi a vencedora do Global Investment Challenge Award neste evento. O comunicado dá conta do aumento exponencial de clubes de business angels um pouco por toda a Europa, o que é um sinal positivo nesta conjuntura de crise económica e financeira.

The recent economic and financial crisis has increased the equity gap for high growth entrepreneurs, with early stage investors becoming increasingly important for the capital they inject at early stages as well as the mentorship and skills thy share with entrepreneurs. We are currently witnessing the emergence of a new asset class.”
