A Modwenna Rees-Mogg, editora da e-newsletter Angel News consegue sempre surpreender-nos com alguns interessantes temas, desta vez com um editorial que compara a evolução da empresa em termos financeiros com a evolução do próprio mercado de "business angels".

 

 

Amongst my wandering around the internet, I found a great chart on www.creditcrunch.co.uk called the Bubble Chart. 

 

Based on Dragons’ Den et al I would argue that the angel industry is now in the “Media attention” phase.  Maybe other equity market conditions will prevent a bubble from forming and, in any case, time in the angel world is measured in units in years if not decades.  The first major angel group in the UK was Venture Capital Report started by Lucius Cary in 1978. Assuming that point was take-off, it suggests that the Awareness Phase lasted 30 years.  So we still have a few years to go until the peak.  What do you think?
