Carlos Martins e Jorge Martins, respectivamente CEO e CFO da Martifer, foram os grandes vencedores da Gala Entrepreneur of the Year promovida ontem pela Ernst & Young.
A distinção deve-se à fantástica evolução do negócio da Martifer que evoluiu de uma facturação de 250 mil euros em 1990 na construção de estruturas metálicas para 500 milhões em 2007, ano em que a actividade se estende já às energias renováveis e aos biocombustíveis.
A Logoplaste, representada por Marcel e Filipe de Botton e Alexandre Realvas, foi distinguida com os prémios "International Entrepreneur of the Year" e "Social de "Entrepreneur of the Year"". Jorge Guimarães, o médico que fundou a Alert Life Sciences Computing, recebeu o título de "Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year".
